An interactive, discussion-led workshop that helps your staff and leaders understand alcohol and other drugs at work, respond with confidence and care, and know where to find support.
Drug and alcohol awareness training for your workplace
Who it's for
Alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues look different on a building site, in an aged care facility and in a corporate office. Our workshop is built for sectors where safety, trust and duty of care matter, including construction and trades, transport and logistics, hospitality and events, health and aged care, community services, education, mining and resources, retail and customer service, and government and corporate teams.
We tailor scenarios, examples and policy discussion to your industry, so the session feels like your workplace and not a generic lecture.
Why organisations book it
Substance use affects safety, performance, culture and wellbeing, yet many workplaces only talk about it when something has already gone wrong. Most managers and colleagues want to help but aren't sure what to notice, what to say, or who to involve. This workshop gives people practical language and a clear pathway, so concerns are raised early and respectfully, and stigma stops being the reason someone stays silent.
It also supports your obligations under work health and safety and psychosocial risk requirements by giving you a documented, practical training activity.
Interactive Workshops
From a 60-minute lunch and learn to 2-day programs, every session is engaging, interactive and practical.
Evidenced Based
Our content is grounded in research. Staff leave with skills they can apply immediately, not just theory.

We work with you to design a bespoke program that meets your organisation's specific goals.

Every workshop includes electronic or printed resources, so learning continues after we leave the room.

Frequently asked questions
Is this training accredited?
No this training is not accredited but will support your workplaces wellbeing strategy
Is this the same as drug and alcohol testing?
No. The workshop is about awareness, culture and supportive conversations. It doesn't replace testing programs or your own policy.
Testing tells an employer whether a substance is present. It doesn't help anyone understand why substance use happens, recognise early warning signs, or have a supportive conversation. This workshop does that, and it works alongside your testing program, not instead of it.
Can the content match our existing policy?
Yes. Share your policy and context when you enquire, and we'll tailor the scenarios and discussion to it.
Do you deliver interstate
Yes, we deliver across Australia both in person and online.
Who runs the session?
An experienced mental health and workplace wellbeing facilitator with professional experience in drug and alcohol support.
